Problem: Jesus did or didn't baptise
Verses: John 3:22, John 4:2; Status: Weak

This is John 3:22-23:

After this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean countryside, and he remained there with them and was baptizing. John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because water was plentiful there, and people were coming and being baptized (ESV)

Slightly later on though, we are told that Jesus wasn't baptising. This is John 4:1-3:

Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples), he left Judea and departed again for Galilee. (ESV)

It seems clear that the baptisms were overseen by Jesus but not physically done by him. So in a certain sense it's true that Jesus was baptising, and in another sense it's true that he wasn't.
